It is the Mission of the Glade Spring Volunteer Lifesaving Crew to foster high professional standards & acts of service by its membership toward the community for the provision of Rescue & Emergency Medical Services.
Our Vision
To provide Rescue & Emergency Medical Services to the citizens and visitors
of the Town of Glade Spring, and Washington County, Virginia.
To establish and promote training and educational programs in Rescue and
Emergency Medical Services for our members & community.
To promote professional development for members who are working towards
future careers in health care & EMS related fields.
Memberships
Certified and regulated by the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services as an "Advanced Life Support - Ground Ambulance" agency.
Member of the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads.
Member of the Southwest Virginia Emergency Medical Services Council.
Member of Washington County Emergency Volunteer Association.
Member of Black Diamond Search & Rescue Council.
